About

It took me a while to understand why people travel. I wasn’t much into it until I was twenty-five years of age, and I am not sure I’ll ever fully understand it the way other people do. What I do know, however, is that I love the journey, all the tales and fun that come with going from one place to another: the history, the companionship, the drinking games, and whatever the hell comes with it.
Life’s a journey, not a destination. [Aerosmith, "Amazing"]
I think it’s an appreciation of life, culture, and art. It’s an appreciation of the good things (read: food). It’s a goddamned celebration – and that’s why I travel.
About Serial Tripper
Serial Tripper is a blog I started in December 2010 to put together my travel adventures from that year and the coming ones, particularly focusing on going around my hometown (Metro Manila, Philippines) and expanding my journal to trips out of the metropolis and occasionally out of the country.
Honestly, I don’t know where I’d find myself in a few years, but my personal commitment to Serial Tripper is this: should I get there (wherever that place is), I’d write about it here.
About the Author
I’m Judd, and I’m – sort of – a writer. I’m also a graphic artist (I designed this thingĀ right here), and I love to eat. Because I work in Taguig City, hang out in Makati City, and live in Antipolo City, I count the latter as part of Metro Manila, even if it really isn’t.
